At Paseo Herencia, we are excited to unveil two transformative initiatives that aim to shape the lives of young local talents and nurture their dreams – the Gift of Sports and the Gift of Education programs. As a community-driven organization, we believe in harnessing the potential of our youth and empowering them to reach new heights in sports and academics.
Gift of Education – Education is a gift no one can take away
For over 8 years, we have remained steadfast in our dedication to nurturing young minds through the Gift of Education program, a longstanding initiative that began in 2015. We recognize the critical role that quality education plays in shaping the future of our youth and society as a whole. Many talented students possess the drive and potential to excel academically, but they may face financial barriers that hinder their progress.
The Gift of Education program seeks to address this concern by providing financial assistance to talented students, helping to cover their school expenses. By easing the financial burdens, we aim to empower these young minds to focus on their studies and unleash their full potential. Our vision is to create a pathway for these scholars to flourish academically, achieve their academic aspirations, and become the next generation of leaders and innovators.
How to Apply
Interested students are invited to submit:
- A motivational letter outlining their academic ambitions and aspirations. The letter should express their passion for learning, their commitment to excellence, and how this support will positively impact their educational journey.
- A copy of the student’s latest report card, as it provides valuable insight into their dedication to their studies.
- Must submit the completed PDF form below with their personal details, including educational background and family financial details.

(NEW) Gift of Sports – Fostering Success in Young Athletes
The ultimate goal of Gift of Sports is to encourage and propel our talented athletes towards achieving significant victories locally and internationally. We envision a future where these budding sports stars will earn a spot on our prestigious Wall of Rising Stars, prominently displayed in our shopping center. This unique wall is reserved for showcasing TOP athletes who have earned remarkable titles on the international stage in representation of our beloved island ‘Aruba’. By featuring only the best of the best, we aim to inspire others and demonstrate that with determination and hard work, dreams can become a reality.
How to Participate in the Gift of Sports
- Participants must submit a compelling video showcasing their personal profile, sport category, and sports achievements. We encourage them to share their passion and dedication through captivating clips or pictures of their sport accomplishments.
- Participants must also submit a curriculum vitae presenting their sport history and achievements.
Files are to be sent via email at marketing@paseoherencia.com. Large video files can be shared via WeTransfer, and the link to the WeTransfer upload should be included in the email.
Selection Process
Our selection process is focused on identifying athletes who embody the spirit of perseverance, dedication, and sportsmanship. We hope that this program will serve as a guiding light for young athletes, encouraging them to set ambitious goals and realize their true potential.

As for Gift of Education, we welcome students ages 12 and up attending high school, or higher education in Aruba. If you are an Aruban resident and eager to excel academically, this program aims to support your educational journey.

We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our Gift of Education & Sports program with a special USA edition. Committed to supporting the development of talented individuals, this edition specifically targets students who seamlessly combine their dedication to education with a passion for sports. In a significant stride, we will be sponsoring a student-athlete with a $1000 donation, aimed at covering their school expenses in the United States. This initiative reflects our dedication to nurturing young minds and athletes, providing them with opportunities to excel academically while pursuing their athletic dreams. By facilitating a unique intersection of education and sports, we hope to empower the next generation of leaders and achievers.
